SKILLED NOMINATED VISA (SUBCLASS-190)

Features
This visa allows skilled workers who are nominated by an Australian state or territory government live and work in Australia as a permanent resident.

Eligibility :
• have a relevant occupation
• have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation
• meet the points test pass mark of 60 points
• be nominated by a state or territory government agency
• be under 45 years of age at time of invitation
• have Competent English
• be invited by us to apply.


Process: The Australian skilled visa is of 2-3 staged process the time frame can vary from 6- 12 months which depends upon the category in which an applicant is qualified. There are some exceptions where in the priority processing can expedite the process.

English language: The applicant should prove that he/she meets the English language of competent level by submitting the test results before the application is lodged.

Nominated occupation: The applicant should nominate an occupation on Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) for subclass 189 and subclass 190 or 489(if sponsored by a relative) or on state occupation list that is eligible for a state nomination as per states occupations list.

Skill Assessment: It is mandatory for an applicant to get a positive skill assessment for a nominated occupation before the EOI is lodged
